Working with trauma and self-hatred can be challenging and, at times, overwhelming for many clinicians. Chairwork, an experiential method experiencing a global renaissance, offers a powerful and dynamic approach for trauma survivors. Clients can engage more deeply with their emotions, build inner stability, and experience genuine breakthroughs and lasting recovery. The Chairwork Psychotherapy Initiative's one-day workshop, "Chairwork for Trauma and the Inner Critic: A One-Day Intensive,” will give participants readily applicable experiential techniques to treat even the most difficult cases involving trauma and self-hatred. Participants will learn how to practice Chairwork via clinical storytelling, unrehearsed, live clinical demonstrations, and group practice.
